I mostly use this blog as an online print portfolio! This means there will be no regular updates unless I have created something new. Recently I have started creating and selling sewing patterns, there will soon be a blog and a shop!

A few examples of what I’ve  been doing lately.

For the fashion brand Maja Roos I have created a fern pattern, to be screen printed by hand on jersey, for dresses and tops. The dresses are in production at the moment, photos will come soon!

THE TROPICAL FUSION BLOG HOP!

Hello, I’m Tina of FYLLAYTA and this is my take on the tropical fusion theme from the blog hop earlier this year. I concentrated on whats happening below the surface of the tropical sea!

PIN HOP-MIDNIGHT GARDEN

The pin hop of june 2013!

Last june I organized a completely new thing, called a Pin Hop! More than 50 designers joined in, and shared their design on Pinterest during one weekend in June, 2013. As inspiration I picked 4 themes from from  PATTERNBANKS lovely forecast, for us to chose from. The inspiration boards for the 4 themes can be seen on Pinterest.

The Pin hop is a cooperation with the designers directory “Find New Designers”.

I picked the theme  Midnight garden  Hope you like my wild and dark flowers!

BALLOONS

Last year I participated in the “LET’S FLY” bloghop, we had such great feedback that we decided to keep the links up for some time!

As I had decided to do a lot of handprinted surfaces for this theme,  I picked  hot air balloons as my version of flying. The shape of the balloon makes a nice and easy template to work with!  In Stockholm you see them often in the summer. ( At the green cross I used to have my shop/Studio, once upon a time!)

After some sketching, I cut out shapes for the details  and background and started putting paint on paper. Later I worked it all together  in photoshop.

The final patterns I think would give a fresh and joyful feeling to bedding, so that is the theme for this balloon print!
